Our group consists of seasoned veterans in healthcare who specialize in driving sustainable operations and turning around struggling hospitals to best serve consumers and communities. Whether they are community-based, rural, or large-scale hospitals, we bring the most appropriate solutions to own, manage and optimize facilities and operations. With our strategies and our focus on patient care – Yates Medical Group makes operations more efficient and significantly increases the quality of patient care. This in turn positively impacts the communities that our hospitals are located in.

Key Members of our Medical Group
Dr. Romero is the owner of a very large orthopedic practice in South Florida with experience spanning three decades in healthcare. Prior to owning his flourishing practice, he was instrumental in turning one of the largest hospitals in Puerto Rico from a failing hospital into a profitable hospital that has now also acquired 4 other hospitals. Dr. Romero also took over and turned a failing orthopedic practice in Puerto Rico into the 2nd largest orthopedic practice in Puerto Rico. His expertise in delivering an excellent patient experience which adds value to any practice or hospital, align perfectly with the vision of Yates Medical Group. In addition to this he has expertise in the world of medical education as a program director for residency programs. With decades of experience behind him, he is an integral part of implementing our vision in the world of healthcare.
Dr. Zambrano is a renowned ophthalmologist with over 40 years of experience in the delivering high quality healthcare in both a hospital setting and in large scale private practice. He’s been on ‘The Best Doctors in America’ list since 2001 and has been voted a ‘Florida Super Doctor’ 2008- present. He is a renowned Professor at the University of Miami and The Palmer eye institute. While being the owner of the largest eye surgery center in Miami Lakes, he also has multiple hospital appointments in the greater Miami area. With extensive experience in the business side of medicine he brings valuable expertise to any healthcare venture in the delivery of excellent healthcare while running an efficient operation. Dr. Zambrano’s vision and values of positively impacting healthcare in America are invaluable to the mission of Yates Medical Group.
Dr. Bahadue is an accomplished Physician with decades of expertise in Oncology and Hematology. He was part of the University of Miami health system. In addition to which he did pioneering Immunotherapy research for Sanger sequencing applied Biosystems. Apart from his decades of clinical expertise, Dr. Bahadue is the go-to person in the Southeastern United States when it comes to setting up Emergency Rooms and running them for major hospital systems and as stand-alone Emergency Rooms. He has grown ER groups from one facility to dozens of facilities with over $100M in revenue.
He has done work for the Gov of Florida, State Senators and worked with the founders and Sr. executives of HCA which is the largest publicly traded hospital group in the United States. His wealth of experience in turning around distressed facilities into thriving and profitable operations is a key component of Yates Medical Group’s operational success.
Other key team members include a seasoned executive whose career spanning 4 decades has included executive leadership with multiple major health groups from including HCA, Quorum and many others in addition to serving as the Chief executive officer of one of the largest hospital groups in the country. He brings extensive knowledge around healthcare operations, strategy, and innovation, as well as industry business development.
Also an accomplished senior-level executive with a 25-year track record of successful strategic and tactical leadership in the healthcare, finance and real estate industries. With experience in executive management for Baylor, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System and many others, his expertise in managing large-scale capital investment programs and in his ability to achieve maximum results guided by his faith and a strong ethical code are key to Yates Medical Group.
Chief Executive Officer
Benjamin Yates
Benjamin has a multi faceted background.
He was a triple major in undergrad with a B.A. majoring in Business, Economics and Psychology with Honors.
He has been a professional musician and has toured with several major artists.
He was a Christian Missionary working with several Non-profits internationally.
Benjamin has also worked at the highest levels of tech at Fortune 500 companies and consultancy firms in the Silicon Valley. From management to M&A, he has varied expertise in tech.
He then branched out into his passion and calling which is healthcare. In addition to going to Medical School to become a Doctor, he was also a consultant and has turned various failing practices and groups into being profitable. In addition to which he has grown and optimized multiple medium to large scale practices where they have 3-5x their earnings.
The marriage of his medical background combined with his business and operational experience, led by his guiding values of truly caring for people, wanting to alleviate suffering and helping those in need are what set Yates Medical Group apart.
